Naylor Love is shaping the future of construction in New Zealand; join our team today and love your job tomorrow.The opportunityWe have a great opportunity for an experienced Cost Planner/Estimator to join our team.This role will see you working collaboratively within the Group and Regional Preconstruction teams, to contribute to the Naylor Love strategic plan for Design and Build and Early Contractor Involvement projects.
Focusing on sustaining and developing our brand nationally as the leading Design and Build and Early Involvement Contractor in New Zealand.You will hold excellent communication skills and understand the overall construction process and costs.
Our ideal candidate will have a commercial building background and extensive experience in a wide range of commercial construction projects.This position is ideally suited to an experienced cost planner/estimator with an analytical focus and who is looking to advance their career in a position that offers the opportunity to participate in the successful growth of our Design and Build portfolio.To be considered for this role it is essential that you have the following attributes:Previous estimating experience and a background in Quantity Surveying including pre-construction servicesHave at least five years' experience in commercial constructionPossess excellent negotiation skills and relationship building expertise to drive relationships with existing and new clientsHave the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levelsDemonstrate leadership skills in developing and motivating individuals to reach their full potentialAs a person you will be a team player, who takes personal ownership and responsibility for your resultsWhy work for us?When you join Naylor Love you will learn that we live our values and that our philosophy of 'our people are our brand' is shaped by employees having ownership of what they do.
