As they continue to expand, they offer a vibrant work environment that fosters collaboration and nurtures innovation.About YOUR new job:As the Cost Controller, you will be working on a high-profile Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project in the transmission sector. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the costs associated with the Project. Your primary goal will be to oversee the budget and cost forecast, manage payment claims, and report key findings to the CFO.Budget management: Help the CFO manage the project budget and cost forecasts, ensuring it aligns with the overall financial plan.Cost Tracking: Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders.Pay claims: Manage payment claims to ensure that payments are made and received on time and that the claims meet the requirements of the contracts.Collaboration/coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.About YOU!Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.• At least 3-5 years of experience in cost control or a similar role, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.• Strong understanding of financial principles and cost management strategies.• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with Xero is desirable.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
