On the whenua of Ngati Rangi, NRCF has been operating since it's establishment in 2005. The site is a temporary home for the up to 489 men. NRCF is a site with a strong passion for Rehabilitation and Reintegration, as well as with a strong focus on arts, including whakairo. Established as a facility it seeks to transform the approach towards caring for prisoners via the Hokai Rangi strategy, and the Maori Pathways project.
