About the role | Mo te turanga mahiWe are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our corporate client acquisition and revenue growth targets, keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales and revenue potential across your market segment, focusing on relationship building and generating future business from existing and new clients.This role is full-time and will commence in early February 2025, based in our Auckland CBD office reporting to the Group Director of Sales.RequirementsAbout you | Ko wai koePreferred Qualifications & ExperiencesMinimum of 3 years of previous experience in a corporate sales role (within Hotel, Travel or Hospitality industry preferred).Sound knowledge of standard Sales practices.Advanced knowledge and applications of Microsoft Office.Previous Sales experience servicing the Govt, Corporate, and Mice segments desirable.Clean full driver's license.Person SpecificationPublic speaking and strong presentation skills are highly desirable.Strong ability to build relationships & negotiate sales.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Well organized with the ability to adjust work based on priority.Ability to travel within Auckland and New Zealand, work independently and unsupervised.Willingness to assist in coaching and building revenue awareness amongst hotel teams.BenefitsHe kura te tangata - We are all valuedIt's an exciting time for us with growth in our company.
