Are you ready to support good decision-making and accountability? Hawke's Bay Regional Council is seeking a Corporate Planning Analyst to join our Strategy & Governance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your professional skills while contributing to the council's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting corporate planning functions, including the Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, and Annual Report
Developing and maintaining organizational performance reporting
Contributing to public consultations and engagement activities
Assisting in building a long-term planning culture across the council

This position reports to the Team Leader, Strategy & Performance, and is crucial in helping HBRC achieve its vision of a healthy environment and a resilient, prosperous community.

We're looking for a dedicated professional with:

Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
Adaptability and innovation in the face of change
An understanding of local government processes (desirable)
A Bachelor's degree in policy, planning, communications, political science, or a related field
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What we offer | Nga huanga mou:
The salary range for this role is between $69,750 to $77,500 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
