You will be solely responsible for driving revenue and creating sustainable growth from new and existing Child Cancer Foundation corporate partners.
You will identify, target, and secure new partnerships and associated revenue as well as manage and grow existing partnerships with a clear focus on the commercial sustainability of Child Cancer Foundation.With a strong focus on building relationships, you take pride in your ability to network, cold call new opportunities, and nurture existing partnerships.Developing compelling, bespoke partnership pitches is a strength, and you revel in the challenge of bringing new partners on board.
Ensuring any new partnership is the right fit for our organisation and in return ensuring they can see value in the relationship with us in the short and longer term.Reporting to the Marketing & Fundraising Manager and working closely within the Marketing and Fundraising team, you will support all major campaigns and events from a sponsorship and mobilisation of resources perspective through engagement with our corporate partners.
You will also support the team in their efforts to service larger community fundraising initiatives.All the work you do will ultimately build our profile, sustainable income stream, and bring awareness to what we do.
The support our corporate partnerships provide is pivotal in the support we provide.No two days are the same; this role has a wide scope and requires the ability to work across multiple projects and initiatives with attention to detail and project management skills.The role will also involve occasional weekend and evening work to meet our event and fundraising initiatives.Note - this role is Part-time, 32 hours per weekWhat we provideAside from working with a group of passionate people making a difference for families facing childhood cancer, we have flexible working hours and provide the option to work from home two days per week.
We have also just moved into a brand-new office in Symonds Street!What we are looking forWe are looking for someone who is confidently able to work across business development and servicing of partners.
Ideally, you will have:Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business Admin, Sales, or similarAt least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role; Not-for-Profit experience would be advantageousStrong commercial acumen and numeric reasoningExceptional leadership and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to own your area of the businessExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionIf you are wanting a rewarding role where you can support a purpose-led organisation by looking after those who support, fund, and donate to us all while working with belief, trust, and empathy to support tamariki with cancer and their whanau, then please apply!
