This is a face-paced in-house role where you work on a diverse range of legal matters. Your day may include general commercial and contractual advice and negotiation, M&A, company and competition law and some litigation management. Together you will ensure that all key stakeholders benefit from high quality legal support as they deliver innovative solutions-based services that move us towards a future low carbon and sustainable circular economy.Fulltime, part-time (4 days per week) or WFH options available.What we're looking for· A NZ qualified lawyer with a current LPC and intermediate level experience (3 years +)· Subject matter expertise in commercial and corporate law complemented by knowledge and experience of one or some of other areas such as company law, M&A, or competition law· A technically excellent lawyer who is approachable, positive and solutions focused· An articulate and confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people at all levels of the business· Pragmatic, proactive and keen to learn, happy to work autonomously but also as part of a supportive teamAbout the companyWaste Management is Aotearoa's leading materials recovery, recycling and waste management provider, with over 1600 team members across 70 locations.
