If you're a proactive communications professional with a strategic mindset and a flair for storytelling, we'd love to hear from you!Key responsibilities will include:Developing and executing tailored communication plans aligned with Sky's strategic goals, across various audiencesWriting, editing, and proofreading high-quality communication materials such as press releases, speeches, and internal updatesBuilding and maintaining relationships with media contactsSupporting the Head of Communications with risk mitigationOverseeing customer interactions related to Broadcasting Standards and enhancing our 'Sky for Good' partnershipsManaging company-wide events and ensuring effective internal communications through various channelsESSENTIALAt least 5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in a fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearlyAnalytical skills and the ability to use data and emerging technologies to inform communication strategiesProven experience managing social media accounts and implementing effective social media strategiesStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and partnersKnowledge of the media landscape and experience working with journalists and media outletsBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related fieldLegal right to work in New Zealand as defined by Immigration NZPREFERREDExperience using agile tools and a working knowledge of agile methodologyExperience working in or across media or streaming sectorsDiscounted Southern Cross health insuranceDiscounted Gym Membership at the YMCAFree parking onsite (Mt Wellington office)Free Sky, Sky Sport Now and NeonIf this opportunity excites you and you want to join us in sharing stories, possibilities, and joy, apply online today.
