You'll be exposed to a broad spectrum of work including:
Property and business transactions
Commercial property development and leasing
Company formations and shareholder agreements
Other commercial contracts
Working with in-house legal teams
Undertaking rural, residential and commercial conveyancing and refinancing
Working with existing clients to develop relationships and maintain a high level of client service
Receiving instructions from clients and senior team members and partners
Attending clients by phone/meeting/email
Legal research, preparation of advice and legal documents using GQ precedents available
Reporting to and invoicing clients, taking responsibility for realisation of invoices issued
Delivering an excellent client experience by providing genuine value to our clients in everything we do, to make a real difference for our clients
About You
A recent law graduate with a keen interest in corporate and commercial law
Personable and approachable: strong client relationships are essential and one of the foundations of the success of Govett Quilliam
A proactive team player with a strong commitment to learning and professional growth
