Core or Senior Podiatrist, Otara/Mangere LocalityPermanent, Part Time 0.2FTE – 1 day a week Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines The opportunity: Counties Manukau – Specialist Community Health Service has been delivering podiatry services at Mangere and Otara Hubs.
The Community Podiatry service supports diabetic patients and those that have complex clinical podiatry needs, i.e., outside the usual treatment provided by Community Podiatrists contracted by primary health organisations, but not requiring secondary podiatrist treatment.
As an Allied Health Clinician, you will manage people with high clinical complexity, empowering them to maintain their quality of life in their own homes and communities.
You will support and promote high standards of clinical practice and service development by providing clinical leadership within the team and assist in the development of the clinical capability of others.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about equity, who can multi-task, is flexible, organised, and creative.
You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
In this role, you will report to the Allied Team Leader.
Minimum Requirements:Registration and APC with the NZ Podiatrists BoardMinimum 2 years health sector experience as a podiatristExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPassion for working in a person/whaanau centred way to provide excellent careSound computer skillsFull driver's licenceWhat's in it for you?
