We have
1,000 births a year and we can promise that your core midwifery role will be

About you
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a
commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning
and growth
All midwives are welcome to apply!
As a midwife you will be able to use all of your clinical, time
management and organisational skills and expertise across pregnancy,
birthing and postnatal care.
You will be an important member of maternity
service and support us to achieve the broader organisational health care
objective
You will be committed to women centred and culturally respectful
care.
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti
principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and
Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare
settings.
