We are looking to employ two NZ registered midwives with loads of passion and commitment to join our maternity team, working 8-hour shifts that are rostered across AM, PM, and nights.
Available positions:
2 x permanent positions working 64 hours a fortnight (0.8FTE)
We have 500 births a year and we can promise that your core midwifery role will be busy and varied - so no two days will be the same. The best thing is that our service is midwifery-led so you will get to be a midwife practicing in all the areas you love!

As a midwife, you will be able to use all of your clinical, time management, and organizational skills and expertise across pregnancy, birthing, and postnatal care. You will be an important member of the maternity service and support us to achieve the broader organizational health care objectives.

The midwifery team at Wairau is awesome! Our midwifery-led service has close collegial relationships with our Obstetric and Paediatric teams too.
