Part time 0.9FTE, Permanent. Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 3 - 10).
The Opportunity: Gain valuable real-life experience & insights through the role of Dietitian in our Acute Dietetic team based at Middlemore Hospital.
This is a wonderful opportunity to use your Inpatient experience working alongside the multi-disciplinary team in the hospital setting.
The ideal applicant is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment, has great communication skills, is able to think outside the box, is efficient in time management, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focused team.
You will also be involved with dietetic student training and encouraged to participate in service development and project work.
Essential: BCapSc or BSc, and Post Grad Dip Diet or MSc Dietetics (or equivalent as recognised by the NZ Dietitians Board). NZRD with current Annual Practising Certificate. Experience in managing a caseload, ideally in an inpatient/acute setting. Cultural awareness and understanding. Excellent time management and communication skills.
