Core Clinician Physiotherapist, Medical & Surgical Wards

Remuneration based on the PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 3-10). We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our medical & surgical services based at Middlemore Hospital.
Medical: Our services span across various medical wards, encompassing both general medical wards and several subspecialty wards. Currently, we have approximately 10 Physiotherapists, including advanced, senior and core clinicians, dedicated to working across these services.
Surgical: Our services span across our 4 general surgical wards, encompassing general surgical, vascular and trauma patients. Currently, we have a team of approximately 4 Physiotherapists, including advanced, senior and core clinicians, dedicated to working within these services.
This role will be working across our acute medical & surgical wards. You will be working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the inpatient setting.
Due to the acute fast-paced nature of our wards, you'll be expected to have excellent clinical reasoning skills plus the ability to make prompt and effective decisions/plans for your patients.
