The role will involve the efficient utilization of resources to provide the highest quality sterilizing service.
You will be required to participate and support quality initiatives, risk management and service and facility development projects, and support the training of new technicians to ensure competencies of required practice are achieved.
You will be required to ensure all equipment is operational and meeting required criteria and parameters.
You will be a person who is able to positively effect change, motivate and support the team and demonstrate innovation to problem solve.The hours for this role are generally Monday to Friday, 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs, however, it is a requirement that the successful applicant be flexible to work shifts if required by the manager due to the nature of the service.
The core roster operates Monday to Sunday plus on-call when required.
Shifts: 7:00 – 15:30hrs; 8:00hrs – 16:30hrs; 11:30 – 20:00hrs; 14:30 – 23:00hrs.Mou ake | About youIt is essential to your success in this role that you have the Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Sterilising Technology or equivalent or are aspiring to achieve this within 2 years of appointment.You will have a proven communication style that supports constructive feedback to staff in real time in a non-threatening manner.
With a proven work ethic and attention to detail, you will be able to manage your time to meet the required goals and objective timeframes required of the role and service.
