Coordinator Operational Support (Driver) - Southland EducationPermanent, Full Time Position + Wellness Plan + EAP ServiceCompetitive Wage + Discounted Goods & ServicesCompass Group NZ is looking for a Permanent Full-Time Coordinator Operational Support (Driver) to work at our site in Southland.A Coordinator - Operational Support has a daily responsibility for the physical delivery of products to multiple customer sites while also being the 'face' of the Compass Group brand for our wonderful customers.
On-time delivery of products using supplied vehicles, problem-solving skills, physical activity, and the ability to foster and grow robust customer relationships are all essential requirements of the role.Minimum of 40 hours a week, during education terms only.
You will have normal working hours in accordance with the roster during term time only.
You may be offered additional hours of work during term breaks.Our operation runs 5 days a week; you must be available to work a rotating roster, Monday to Friday.It would be beneficial if you are available to start immediately.Responsibilities:Ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed, including fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness.Pickup and loading of meals, including packing, labeling, and sorting at the site.Delivery of meals, ensuring driving restrictions are adhered to within required time frames.Engaging with customer liaisons and other staff, and students on occasion, in a professional and courteous manner to address issues raised.Communicating any feedback to the manager promptly and ensuring that the feedback provider is kept informed on progress.Drop off and pick-up of Cambros to and from assigned locations.Taking appropriate actions regarding food safety and informing the manager prior to taking action.Reporting any accidents, incidents, or other events that occur during meal delivery.Carrying out maintenance programs for all vehicles.Being the 'face' of Compass Group and the 'voice' of the customer, building positive relationships by communicating positively and regularly with key customer contacts at each site.Minimum Requirements:Valid, current & full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence.Clean Police Criminal Background check.Physically fit and active, as the role requires multiple stops on a strict timeline.Reliable.Benefits:Competitive remuneration.Training & Development Programs.Discounts on medical insurance, banks, hotels, insurance, and more!Rewards and recognition.EAP Services.About Us:We are New Zealand's leading and largest provider of food and support services across multiple industries.These industry sectors are managed by our sub-brands Eurest, Chartwells, Restaurant Associates, Medirest, and ESS.We specialize in turning ordinary acts of service into extraordinary experiential moments for our clients.
