We're seeking a Coordinator – Livestock Transfer to support our South Island farms in managing day-to-day stock movements and resource planning.
What You'll Do: Stock Movement & Planning: Coordinate the transfer and rotation of livestock across multiple farms, making sure everything runs smoothly and animal welfare standards are met.Staff & Resources: Keep operations efficient by scheduling staff, managing temporary workers, and ensuring the right resources are available when needed.On-Site Work: Split your time 50/50 between the office and on-site visits, ensuring everything from stock movement to shed preparation is on track.Admin Tasks: From payroll to managing PPE supplies, you'll handle the key admin tasks that keep the team running smoothly.What You'll Bring: Experience in livestock or farm operations.Strong organisational skills to manage staff schedules and handle unexpected challenges.A valid and clean driver's license. (Essential) A knack for using Excel for tracking stock movements.Leadership skills to motivate the team and ensure everything runs efficiently.Experience with health, safety, and biosecurity protocols.Why Work With Us?
