Coordinator, Information Management and Registry ServicesCabinet Office Full time, Permanent position The purpose of the Coordinator, Information Management and Registry Services role is to provide responsive and professional Registry services within a multi-skilled and flexible team comprising:
Supporting Cabinet Office's information management processes and practices;Weekly production of Cabinet material, along with printing and delivering Cabinet material to Ministers' Offices;Managing and filing electronic and paper records for Cabinet and Cabinet committee meetings and a range of other Cabinet Office functions;Responding to information requests for Cabinet material;Providing administrative and records management support for the New Zealand Royal Honours system;Deputising for the Advisor, Information Management and Registry Services when necessary.Ko wai koe | About you We select on capability and welcome a wide range of applications where the candidate can demonstrate the following:
A relevant qualification in information or records management, or an equivalent body of knowledge, including knowledge of records management principles and the Public Records Act;Experience in recording, tracking, distributing, filing and archiving material;Experience in using databases and document management systems;Research skills for dealing with information requests;Experience in a busy and deadline driven organisation;Experience with the Microsoft Office environment and the ability to learn, use and adapt to new computer technologies.This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance at Top Secret level.
Normally this entails New Zealand citizenship and 10 years of checkable background (in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, or the USA).

The role comes with a competitive salary in the range of $68,348 - $75,942 p/a (including Kiwi Saver contributions).
The office is close to train and bus connections, Wellington CBD.
Please note the position also has a physical component involving photocopying, delivering material to offices across multiple floors and buildings, and lifting boxes.
