Cool Store Team Manager

The Cool Store Team Lead is responsible for the team working within the cool store.
They also work closely with the Inwards/Outwards Goods Team Lead.
Working alongside you will be a team of 3-5 people; your role will be to supervise, help teach, and motivate this team to perform at their best.
The Cool Store Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, monitoring order fulfilment, ensuring stock accuracy, optimising storage capacity, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.Tasks include but are not limited to:Stacking boxes of cherries on palletsChecking labels for accuracyAssisting in maintaining accurate records of shipments, including packing lists and delivery notesEnsuring high levels of hygiene and safety standardsMaintaining a clean and organised cool store environmentLeading the cool store team and promoting an enjoyable work cultureEnsuring the delicate cherries are handled with careNoticing any labelling errors as cartons come off the conveyor so they can be quickly correctedConsolidating pallets as directed by managementAssisting with labelling pallets for transportThe cool store is very cold, around 0-1 degrees Celsius; warm jackets, gloves, and over-pants are supplied.
