Central to this is the preparation of beautifully presented, healthy, and nutritious meals.**Responsibilities:**- Prepare and present nutritious lunch meals, morning, and afternoon tea for the children, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and taste.- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized kitchen environment at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are well-stocked and fresh.- Support the teachers on the floor during breaks and busy times.- Ensure the overall environment is well presented, taking care of the little extras that make our space special, contributing to the homely feel of our environment.- Take direction from the team leader for additional tasks as needed.**Qualities Needed:**- Passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for cooking and children.- Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-energy team.- Commitment and flexibility to adapt to the needs of the team and the children.- Well-organized with a clean and tidy work ethic, maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.- Calm, friendly, and positive approach to the environment, enhancing the homely feel of our childcare.**Requirements:**- Ideally, you will have a food handling certificate, or you will be required to obtain this, along with current first aid certification.- This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, ideally from 8 am – 2.30/3 pm.We are looking to fill the positions ASAP!
