He angitutanga / The opportunity: We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to work at Tegel, New Plymouth, Auckland. Hours of work are Permanent Full Time.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities: Preparing, cooking and serving quality meals and snacks;
Ensuring the quality of every dish we serve!
Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen;
Following the site food safety and health and safety plans;
Providing excellent customer service and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.
He korero mou / About you: Be hard working, trustworthy, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude;
Ideally, you will already have experience in cooking and baking and experience in a cross-section of the industry;
Hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one;
Be able to communicate fluently in English and have good English cuisine cooking skills;
Have superior customer service skills, and demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
