Shifts are 9am to 5.30pm and 6.30am to 3.00pm, 5 days a week. The role involves cooking all aspects of the patient menu including main meals, desserts, baking, soups and vegetables. This is a quantity cooking kitchen where meals are served on a trayline system. You must be able to work self-directed. Hutt Hospital food service provides approximately 1000 meals each day. All meals are prepared and served fresh onsite. We provide quality meals to our patients, staff, visitors and Meals on Wheels recipients.
