Working hours: 34 hours between Monday-SundayLocation: 15 Gibson street, Fenton Park, RotoruaResponsibilities:Planning menus and estimating food and supplier's costOrdering food supplies and managing the stocksMonitoring quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentationDiscussing food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen staffDemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking proceduresPreparing and cooking foodExplaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsMay select and train staffMay freeze and preserve foodsRequirements:3 years of work experience working in a commercial kitchen or relevant qualification in cookeryExperience in Fried chicken and chips and Indian cuisine is preferredThe ability to follow recipesThe ability to work in a team
