We're looking for 2 experienced Indian Cooks that specialise in Indian Curries.
As an Indian Cook, you will be responsible for:
• Responsible for the smooth running of kitchen• Preparation of raw materials, seasoning and heating of food• Must check the food quality before and after cooking• Must be able to cook all authentic Indian curries• Storing and labelling food in fridges• Able to use temperature controlled equipments• Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation efficiently• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served to customers• Must be able to work independently without supervision• Must be a can-do attitude with cope up in busy peak hours• May Train junior kitchen staff• Maintain kitchen cleanliness• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards• Comply with the Restaurant's Health and Safety Guidelines
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of experience as an Indian Cook or relevant role.• In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.• Creativity and passion for exploring new flavours and culinary trends.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.• Must be prepared to work in the late nights, weekends and public holidays.
