About the Role Health New Zealand is looking for a cook to join our dedicated WellFood Department at Hillmorton Hospital to help feed our turoro (patients) and whanau (family).
Our fast-paced industrial kitchen provides 3 high-quality main meals a day, with snacks in-between for turoro (patients) and kaimahi (staff).
We have a strong kapa (team) who are flexible and passionate about delivering a great service and we encourage a positive and trusting culture.
Our cookery kapa (team) are responsible for ensuring that the needs of our turoro (patients) are met to the highest standard.
Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of.
Salary starting from $25.50 per hour, based on the Etu Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.
About You We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated candidates who are able to bring their passion for food to our Hillmorton facility.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and adhering to our Food Control Plan, Health New Zealand code of conduct, and Health and Safety procedures.
Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
