About the role and who we are looking for: We are looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast Cook  to work in the Combined Mess at NZDF-Trentham, Wellington. Hours of work are  Permanent Full Time , as rostered across 7 days. You will be responsible for: the preparation, cooking, and presenting of food planning and catering for buffets and functions as required developing menus to meet special dietary and cultural needs other general kitchen duties receiving and storing kitchen supplies assisting with menu planning Ideal skills and experience you will have: If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen producing high quality food and ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168), or be happy to train for one. You will need to have the ability to work independently and in team but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
