Full Time Application Closes 08 Sep 2024 Auckland - North Shore Cook About the Role:We are looking for a passionate cook to join our team at our center in the heart of Beach Haven. In this role, you will be preparing and cooking nutritious and delicious meals for up to 70 children per day in your own purpose-built kitchen, this number will increase as occupancy grows.. You will manage a budget and shop accordingly, collaborating with the teaching team to design a varied menu that rotates every four weeks, tailored to both summer and winter seasons. We aim to achieve a Healthy Heart Award in 2025, so knowledge of healthy, nutritious food is essential. A food safety course is required, and all necessary training will be provided. Experience working as a cook in an early childhood education setting is preferred.
