Control Systems Engineer - The Role: PLC programming using Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens
Liaise with customers and provide telephone support
Carry out risk Assessments and Method Statements
Carry out installation testing and documentation
Creation of machine technical manuals
Work in the UK and overseas
In addition, work will include: Robot programming using ABB, Motoman
SCADA programming using RSView32, WinCC, MX4
HMI programming using FactoryTalk, WinCC, E Designer, Proface
Control Systems Engineer - The Person: It is ESSENTIAL you are competent with PLC/HMI software design – Rockwell OR Siemens. Additional experience of Mitsubishi very helpful
Panel design, SCADA & Robotics experience are highly advantageous but not essential
Preferably you will have experience of the FMCG sector, however any automation background is acceptable
We are keen to see CV's of Engineers capable not just of design, but of being able to have the hands-on skills to get the production line up and running.
Working autonomously and remaining calm under pressure are key
This role offers an interesting and varied project base. Projects are both UK & international – all commissioning trips are planned in advance with c25% of your time on-site. They operate a 38 hour week with a 12pm finish on a Friday.
You will be working in the office full time during probation period, however once established, there is scope for remote working depending on stage of project.
Located in the North West, we are looking for Control Engineers located within and around the following areas: Burnley, Keighly, Blackburn, Preston or Clitheroe.
