We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Control Room Operator.You will be required to work across a range of areas including:Operating equipment and completing quality assurance checks.Assisting in delivering and completing accurate documentation.Delivering quality product to the required Food Safety and Hygiene standards.We want to hear from people who have the right attitude and a passion to make our great products!This permanent position will involve working a 4 on 4 off roster covering a range of shifts:5am to 5pmAfternoon/evening roster from 12:30pm to 12:30am5pm to 5amPay Rate: $29.58 p/hWhy work for us?6 weeks annual leaveUp to 9% superannuationFree annual health checksFree bread and milk available daily for consumption by staff on siteOvertime rates and shift allowances applyKey accountabilities of the role include:Raw milk receptionProcessing (separating, homogenising and pasteurising) milk via computer-controlled systemsMixing of flavored products as required, which involves lifting 25kg bagsOperating equipment to set standardsAbility to document key production information with great attention to detailConfirming end of day checks and housekeeping sign offsA strong focus on Health & SafetyA passion for Food SafetyTo be successful in your application, you will have:Experience working in a food/hygienic manufacturing environment (Preferred)Intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Word skills and ability to learn SAPThe ability to work in a physically demanding roleNCEA Level 1 English and Mathematics (or equivalent)Mechanical AptitudeBe quality conscious and customer focusedBe punctual and reliableA great attitude with a willingness and aptitude to learnThe ability to work as part of a team and individuallyThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a career in food manufacturing.
