About The Role As the Contracts/Projects Manager, you'll be tasked with working on various projects, owning the management and coordination. Working to tight timeframes and closely with clients, you'll be forming the foundations of your project to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones.
These sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects, and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.
Key Role Responsibilities Are Plan, budget, oversee, manage and document all aspects of projects
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to budget
Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Update programmes weekly
Prepare project methodologies
Collate and reconcile all project costs against budget on a weekly basis
Ensure contract compliance is maintained
You Will Have A relevant construction Degree or Diploma
Experience working on NZ construction sites
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team unity and client service
A commitment to all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance onsite
Remuneration will be dependent on experience, track record, and your ability to perform key competencies.
As our projects span geographical regions, it is important that the successful candidate is prepared to travel and stay away as required.
