As the Contracts Manager - Rural you will play a pivotal role in managing the New Plymouth Infrastructure Partnership to optimize rural road networks, ensuring cost-efficient service delivery while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation.Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of road construction and maintenance projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.Oversee customer requests to ensure a customer-focused service is provided to the community.Ensure effective contractor management processes and relationships are maintained with key contractors.Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets safety and engineering standards.Support the Infrastructure team in operational delivery work and provide backup for other Contracts Managers.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline e.g.
Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience in managing road construction or maintenance contracts, preferably in rural settings.RAMM knowledge.Familiar with industry standards and specifications.Experience in data analysis and management including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be an advantage.He aha ai a Taranaki?
