MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading multi-disciplined environmental contractor who works across water services, resource recovery, and industrial services.They are a leader in their field, operating across the Island of Ireland and throughout mainland UK.This is a diverse role that offers a wide range of opportunities to progress your career. You will be a key player within the wider project team, made up of 6 close-knit individuals who support each other daily.As a Contracts Manager, you will ideally come from a technical engineering background to join the team at mid-management level and take ownership and responsibility for projects ranging from €25K to €1M in value.The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development. This position may suit a civil, environmental, or mechanical engineer looking to work within the water, wastewater, or environmental sector.Core Responsibilities:Ensure the effective and efficient management of projects, adhering to timeline, budget, and scope.Ensure the business unit grows and develops.Operational deliverables: ensure client scope requirements are met, inclusive of management of contractors.Ensure effective program management, including subcontractors' installation targets to specific programs.Profitability: management of overall costs, including subcontractor internal costs versus contracted revenue, maximizing margins in the process.Health & Safety: generation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), Project Supervisor Construction Standards (PSCS), and Project Supervisor Design Phase (PSDP).Ensure compliance and quality standards are met in every aspect of projects undertaken.Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders; monitor project budgets and programmes.Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.Preparation of proposals and profit and loss accounts for new projects with existing customers.Assist in driving forward the development of new service offerings within Enva.Research and support new initiatives to maintain Enva's position as an innovator and forward thinker in the waste and water sectors within Ireland and the UK.Key Requirements:Engineering, technical, or environmental primary degree or related qualification (minimum level 7).Demonstrable experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in project management, contract management, managing budgets, deliverables, and safety, or a similar discipline.Sector-specific experience in the Water/Wastewater/Waste industry is desirable.
