Contracts Manager- FLAT ROOF£40,000 - £75,000 (Salary Negotiable DoE)BournemouthAbout the companyMy client are experts in flat roofing and flat roof waterproofing and due to new business growth they are looking for a Contracts Manager with experience in Flat Roofs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sites and planning and co-ordination of their schemes and be the main escalation point for the client/operatives and management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation of works whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and welfare of operatives, and for supporting the successful completion of works within agreed timescales, budgets, and standards.Responsibilities: * ·ContractsManager position promoting a high quality range of flat roofingcontract services; cold applied liquid, built up felt, hot melt, greenroofs, solar, and single ply * ·Managingall aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through tothe completion * ·Writing uphealth and safety documents for each individual site * ·Monitoringall site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessmentsand carrying out health and safety checks * ·Liaisingwith buyers for the delivery of all materials that will be needed on siteand ensuring they arrive on time * ·Liaisingwith quantity surveyors and commercial managers ensuring all worksare moving smoothly that project deadlines are adhered to, whilstmaintaining project cost plans * ·Liaisingwith clients and providing reports for the project * ·Attendingpre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients * ·Maintaininggood working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation * ·Electronicallydocumenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recordingprogress and problems * ·Managing upto 10 contracts that range in value between £50k to £3mRequirements: * ·Must have a proven track record in Project/Contract management in theflat roofing market sector * ·Ideally experienced in ika Sarnafil, Sika-Trocal and Sika LiquidPlastics flat roofing systems * ·Must have CSCS card & SMSTS * ·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels * ·Full UK driving license * ·Must work well as a team and "fit the culture" * ·Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) * ·Confidentand articulate * ·Ability toplan and organise deliverables * High selfconfidenceWhy You Should Apply: * ·£40,000 -£75,000 (Depending on experience) * ·28 dayAnnual Leave * ·StandardCompany PensionIf you would like to hear more about this job please click apply or contact luke on luke@ huntermasonconsulting .
