Contract Senior Automation Tester

One of the leading IT services & Consulting organisation where contractors are also treated like part of the family with a history of long tenures with multiple extensions Work on complex, interesting, award-winning and market-leading projects across various clients Contract role with initial 3 months to start with likelihood of extension Hourly rate: NZ$85 to NZ$100 Auckland based; Flexible & Hybrid model of work Immediate joining The role: Due to recent growth in our client's capabilities in certain verticals, we are currently in need of one Senior Automation tester contract. The role requires: Maintain a high-quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace Support production deployment of applications and perform "Sanity" checks Contributing towards continuous improvement of the QA processes and practices Ability to create and define a test approach for any given context and produce high value test artefacts Testing of Asynchronous application We are seeking applicants who are available to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate: Senior automation testers / Contract automation testers with the below mentioned skillsets: Experience in software testing including experience of working on Automation design and development, Functional testing, API Testing, Database testing, Mobile Testing (iOS and Android), UAT testing, Integration testing; Ability to test bots (Chatbots and Smart IVRs) (IMPORTANT) Solid programming skills (strong experience with JavaScript) Cloud technology testing experience (e.g. AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud Platform) Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation and source control Systems Excellent communication skills and have been involved in communicating with various stakeholders for status updates Monitoring all QA activities on daily basis and take them to closure Extensive experience in test strategy and design, test execution analysis and reporting Experience of working with complex & scalable projects in an IT Consulting organisation will be good to have.
