Contract Professional Development & Conference Coordinator for the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists (contract position) Total hours : 250-300 hours over 6 months (approx 30 hours per month) Contracting at $30-50 per hour depending on experience. About the Role The primary objective of this position is to develop and deliver a continuing professional development (CPD) program to support the growth and effectiveness of clinical psychologists working within Aotearoa. Additionally, the role aims to foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement, this will culminate in the delivery of a 2 day conference in Dunedin in August 2025. You will have a proven ability to build constructive relationships across health community networks and providers, with strong connections at service delivery level. Work with and facilitate professional practice experts in developing a range of educational events Plan, report, execute, and oversee both virtual and in-person conferences and events.Manage logistics, liaise with speakers and stakeholders, and ensure the smooth delivery of all activities.Develop and maintain an NZCCP events and engagement webpages and mailing listsBuild capability across the branches within the organisation to enable successful event delivery. Member Engagement Actively engage with both new and existing members to enhance their experience and value from NZCCP. Utilise tools such as Google Drive, MailChimp, and website content builders to support communication and engagement efforts. About You Experience and Skills Experience in delivering evidence based professional development initiatives to a diverse audience Degree or equivalent experience in Psychology or related field Understanding of learning and development principles and applied knowledge. Experience and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in a professional context.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.Proven experience in event coordinationTechnologically savvy and innovative Interested?
