The role:
Due to recent growth in our client's capabilities in certain verticals, we are currently in need of several contracts.
We need a Principal Engineer UI design for a 1 year contract. Our client is looking to improve their API and develop it as a product. They're facing some challenges and have a Product expert to help define how the API can add value. So they require a Principal Engineer to lead the UI design, provide guidance and work with AWS and .NET technologies. This role will collaborate closely with the Product team and later expand to a squad. Having experience with various approaches to organising and enhancing APIs would be highly valuable.
The ideal candidate:
Essential:
n Previous experience at a Principal Engineering level in Frontend development/UI design or equivalent technical leadership level.
n Strong knowledge of .NET technologies and C# development
n Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
Good to have:
n Proficiency in web application frameworks such as MVC, WebAPI, and .NET
n Good understanding of architecture and design principles for microservices and cloud architectures, including Event-Driven Architecture, GraphQL, and REST APIs
n Familiarity with DevOps practices: Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
n Experience and practice with Agile development methods, tools, and processes such as SCRUM, FDD, BDD, and TDD
