Contract Manager - co-funding at Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority, Wellington - WairarapaSupport our work to improve how businesses use energyGreat opportunity for an experienced contract managerFull time permanent role, could be based in Wellington/Auckland/ChristchurchWe're looking for an experienced contract manager to work on a portfolio of co-funded projects for businesses that relate to EECA's key focus areas of energy efficiency first, empowering energy users, and accelerating renewable energy.
The work includes working with recipients of co-funding along with managing and tracking milestones for funded projects.To be successful in this role, you'll have:Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven background in business focused government funding programmes and processesExperience with contract negotiation and drafting of contract schedulesStrong commercial acumen and understanding of business issues to successfully manage a portfolio of contractsUnderstanding of energy use and efficiency opportunitiesA tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experienceExcellent communication and facilitation skillsExperience in the energy sector is preferable.An important opportunity to join a government agency with a strong focus on delivery, to do meaningful work with motivated people that has a tangible impact on the lives of New Zealanders.Free medical insurance through Southern CrossAccess to a well-utilised social clubAn excellent working environment – with a dynamic work culture.We are Te Tari Tiaki Pungao – Guardian of the energy.
