With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, they are seeking a Health and Safety Manager on a contract basis.About the RoleAs a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining product and service quality.Responsibilities will include:This will be a Sole Charge role reporting into the GM of Operations. You will work office hours and be responsible for 3 manufacturing shifts which operate 24/5.Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day HSE&Q operations, including incident investigations, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulations, as well as industry best practices.Engagement: Building strong relationships with stakeholders, providing expert advice and support.Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance HSE&Q performance.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will possess:A strong track record in HSE&Q management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.You will be available either immediately or early in the new year for a period of 3 to 6 months.A relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or Quality Management.A deep understanding of relevant regulations and standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A proactive and results-oriented approach.What is On OfferA competitive hourly rate.Flexibility of start and finish times.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects.If you are passionate about safety, sustainability, and making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.To apply for this position, submit your CV by following the link below.
