Our Waitane site in Gore has an exciting opportunity for a people-oriented continuous improvement coordinator to join our team as a Streamline Coordinator. Streamline is our business improvement programme helping us work smarter and to improve every day. This crucial role will lead the training on the use of our tools to improve processes and assist in the creation of action plans, their implementation, and follow-up to drive a Streamline Culture. Our people are key to our success. You will be responsible for connecting knowledge from the site floor to senior leaders, with a passion for positive change through improvement and training. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the sites training team to coordinate company-specific and external training requirements to leverage the opportunities across the site. To be successful, we are looking for the following: Sound knowledge of the processing requirements of a modern food manufacturing processing site (knowledge of meat processing will be an advantage). Ability to work collaboratively with staff across all levels of the business and play a leading role in streamlining processes and activities that support skills and technical development adapted to the business needs. Experience in lean management, continuous improvement, or total quality management is an advantage. Experience in training or learning/development & coaching. Curiosity to learn, adapt, and ask why. Minimum of intermediate computer literacy in MS applications. Ability to organise self and coach others on effectiveness. Experience in reporting, and the ability to analyse data, trends, and identify improvement opportunities. Reporting to the site manager, you will also work in collaboration with our group streamline implementation team. You will lead, coach, and promote the delivery of streamline across the whole site and collaborate with other sites to share learnings and opportunities. Through engaging and supporting all teams with streamline tasks, you will also represent the site at monthly steering committee meetings.
