CarMax is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from home in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As an Associate Level Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our website, blog, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Research and write high-quality content on a variety of topics related to the automotive industry.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with CarMax's brand voice and goals.
3. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4. Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
6. Work independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content on time.
7. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing or a related field.
2. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
