Words matter. In a world where AI engines can generate generic paragraphs on any topic, we risk losing the human art of listening, understanding context, and creating meaningful narratives. A great content strategist/narrator/wordsmith can elevate a digital experience from commoditised to memorable.
We are looking for someone inspired by how generative AI and new tools can evolve our work and outputs. But the machine needs a heart. The machine needs a human, and we'd like you to be it!
At Alphero, we work with epic clients in New Zealand, Australia, delivering impactful digital products and services. We want you to help us evolve our voice, tell our stories, and embody our brand pillars - inventive, emotive, and brave.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved at every stage of our client lifecycle: helping us articulate the 'why' to win epic work; creating narrative frameworks for client strategies; and connecting our clients' heart and purpose into the digital experiences we deliver with inspired UX writing.
Requirements
We'd like you to provide a cover letter with a content portfolio or examples of your work. We cannot assess your ability to write without seeing your actual words! We're looking for a variety of content in different tones of voice - from content strategies and playbooks to UX writing and advertising copy. Without examples, there will be no chance of being shortlisted.
You may have a background as a copywriter, content strategist, journalist, advertising creative, or marketer - we are open to any of these as long as your skills can shine through.
This job is mostly in-office in our new Auckland space in Britomart. We're hoping you have an office pooch to join the team, but this isn't a deal-breaker. If you are a parent, we understand and flex around family life.
