Nga Mahi | The Opportunity As a Content Marketing Specialist at Awhi Company, you'll not only contribute to impactful marketing strategies but also be part of a movement to normalise Maori culture and strengthen our identity as a Maori-owned business. In this full-time role, you'll create high-quality content from social media posts to newsletters and digital ads ensuring our brand remains consistent, authentic, and true to our kaupapa. Your work in campaign management, SEO, and market research will help grow our brand, while also fostering deeper trust and connection with our loyal customer base. Nga Haepapa | Key Responsibilities Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.Create, edit, and publish various forms of digital content, such as blog posts, newsletters, web pages, and social media posts.Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to identify valuable topics.Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.Ensure all content adheres to brand style guides, tone, and voice.
Collaborate with other team members to create engaging multimedia content (e.g., infographics, videos).Track and analyse content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategies.Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure timely publication.Stay updated on content marketing trends, tools, and best practices.Edit and proofread content to maintain high-quality standards across all platforms.Ou Pukenga | About You Have a passion for all things te ao Maori. The ability to develop strategic marketing and content plans and implement them as well. Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.An innovative and creative approach to work.At least 5 years experience working in a marketing and/or content creation role.
