About the role | Ko te mahi nei We are looking for a dynamic and experienced senior library leader to take the helm of Library Content Services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development of Christchurch City Libraries' collections in all formats, including print and digital.
You will also be responsible for leading:
A team of 4 direct and 40 indirect reportsThe design and implementation of effective library policies for collection development, preservation, copyright and rights management.The development of digital content, including the digitisation programme for all libraries, and will oversee bindery and courier services for the network of libraries.To be successful in this role, you will have proven skills and experience in:

Hours of work – Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Position – Permanent Fulltime
Location – This position is primarily based at 180 Smith Street, Linwood
Salary – The salary band for this position goes from $141,251 – $156,946 per annum based on a 40-hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
