Looking to grow your communications skills? A career development opportunity  Based in our Petone office close to the beach and shops This is a full time position of 40 hours per week The opportunity The Content and Channels Advisor is a key role in helping us meet our strategic objective of transparency. The role sits in Wellington Water's Communications and Engagement Team. You will oversee the day-to-day running of our website, its content, support the content development for our social media channels, and ensure our channels are performing as optimally as they can within current resources.  This role would suit a someone with at least 2-3 years of experience managing digital and social media channels with experience in using back-end content management systems for websites. You will get to: Be responsible for the day-to-day management of our website Develop and maintain the website style guide Look at ways we can improve the user experience of the website and how this links in with our channels Regularly report on our website and digital channels performance Look for ways to improve user experience, including optimising content for SEO. About you To be successful in this role you will bring: A tertiary qualification in communications or other relevant field Understanding of digital communications as part of a strategic approach to engaging with audiences Excellent oral and written communication skills, in particular writing, editing, and proofing Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously within a small team Strong attention to detail.
