About the Role
We are looking for someone to join our team and take their container hoist driving skills to the next level by operating our 50 tonne container handlers. Previous forklift driving experience is preferred but not essential.
Status: Full Time
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours of work are between 6.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 6am to 12pm as required.
Duties
Supporting ground functions by moving containers around the yard as required.
Communicating in a clear and co-operative manner using RT communication.
Driving a single or double stacker container hoist assisting with container stacking to a maximum height of 8 high (max rated capacity: 45000kg).
Loading/unloading of trucks and work areas as required.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to.
About You
Full NZ Class 1 Licence (Required).
Class 2 Licence (Preferred but not essential).
Confidence working with heavy machinery (essential).
Demonstrated focus on Zero Harm and always working safely.
Flexible and adaptive to your work environment to work over other company sites as required.
Team player with the ability to work well with others.
