Contact Centre Operator

Are you interested in supporting New Zealanders in their time of need?Wanting to work for a charitable organisation making a difference in Kiwi's lives?This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, working your rostered hours between 6am-6pm. You will be supporting people nationwide, based in Christchurch. This is meaningful work for a national charity, where you will play a key part in the experience of callers and stakeholders. Therefore, we are looking for someone with empathy, excellent listening skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and high resilience. Call centre experience is a bonus but not essential.About the roleBe the first point of contact for all inbound calls from a variety of stakeholders.Evaluate and identify risk with callers and ensure timely response is met.Log and process call information accurately and in a timely manner.Respond to calls in an empathetic manner.Ability to provide excellent service delivery to callers.About youCustomer service experience - any experience we are open to!Empathetic by nature.High resilience.Excellent listening skills.Clear written and verbal communication.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to positively contribute to a charity, support its members, and actively help over the phone.
