About this role: Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? We have an opportunity for a Contact Centre Superstar to join our team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday! In this role, you'll be working in a vibrant team supporting the forefront of our customer interactions, handling a wide range of queries and service requests. As a critical first contact for the entire organisation, you will enjoy delivering effortless customer service in a friendly, effective, and professional manner. You will lead by example by being respectful and responsive in every interaction. What will I do? Serve as Council's first communication interface with the public and internal customers through phone, email, and web-based applications. Your accuracy, efficiency, and eye for detail will support providing first point resolution to a wide range of customer queries. Thrive in a high-pressure, multi-tasking environment to resolve and assign enquiries and requests for services in a timely manner. Build trust and confidence through sharing accurate and timely information with internal and external customers. Meet or exceed customer service Key Performance Indicators in line with Council's expectations. Go the extra mile in delivering high-quality customer service to achieve first point resolution wherever possible in keeping with Council's vision for delivering an effortless customer experience. Assist with customer payment and account queries, bookings while maintaining accuracy of records. What I bring? Excellent typing skills (with a minimum of 50 wpm) and high attention to detail. NCEA Level 3 in topics relevant to a Contact Centre role. Demonstrate quality communication skills with a proactive and responsive Customer Service attitude. Proven experience in a high-pressure environment. Previous contact centre experience or similar capacity is desirable.
