Details of the offer

Management (Information & Communication Technology) Think Concepts provides IT support, cloud services, and managed IT services for small to medium-sized businesses. Based in a hip Auckland office on East Street, we're a tight-knit team who are passionate about what we do. You will enjoy a competitive remuneration package, which includes a base salary and uncapped sales and performance bonuses, paid monthly. Our unique bonus and commission structure enables you to build an additional income stream on top of your base salary, and work on increasing it month to month, as you get more and more capable at the role. If you're motivated to learn and work hard, opportunities for advancement abound. Many members of our team have moved up over the years: a Technician is now the company's Technical Lead and our CEO began as our Marketing Coordinator! Our turnover is low – our average length of service is four and a half years – because we genuinely enjoy what we do and working here. Our 2024 employee satisfaction score (eNPS) was 55, significantly above the industry average and considered "excellent". We also welcome pets and nurture people, striving to help our employees reach their full potential, and have fun while they we are doing it. The Role As our Consulting Lead you will have a variety of responsibilities including: Management and mentoring of the wider consulting team across our Auckland, Wellington and Tauranga branches. Proposal and quotation reviews, assistance and approvals. Oversight of the account management functions of the business. Annual IT Assessment and Technical Roadmap management and guidance. Team timesheet compliance, review and approval. Leadership team membership and input. Sales management and working with the BDM on executing sales initiatives. Review and closure of the company's service tickets.   About You You enjoy and are confident explaining technical concepts, simply, to non-technical people. You have experience with technical pre-sales across user and infrastructure-level opportunities. You have hand-on technical experience and/or have worked in the industry long enough to understand technical work and terminology, even if you don't perform the tasks yourself. You are good at setting up an effective routine and sticking to it, as well as holding others to account for their commitments and plans. You have skills and interest in helping team members learn and grow. You relish working with a wide variety of technology and businesses, from basic and small to complex and large. You have a high-level of attention to detail, always endeavour to do your best work and hold yourself to high standards.   Must Have Skills and Experience Five years minimum experience in the IT industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. IT technical pre-sales experience, in both user and infrastructure hardware and software. Experience in customer account management and customer service. Experience in small to medium business IT environments. Experience managing a team and being account able for their results. Microsoft Windows and 365 experience and/or understanding. NZ full driver's license, with a clean record.   Managed Services. Networking. Telephony, PABX and SIP/VoIP. VMware and Hyper-V. What's On Offer $90,000 Base Salary – depending on skills and experience. Achievable sales targets providing uncapped commissions (OTE +$20,000 on top of base, but the freedom to earn more). Regular sales, product and technical training sessions. Support for professional development, to add qualifications and certifications to your skillset where desirable. A supportive team culture where we have Monday breakfasts at our weekly meeting, social outings, and a family-friendly Christmas event. Free lunch! Pick whatever you would like to have on hand, and we will put it on our grocery order. The opportunity to bring your pet to work.   How To Apply If this sounds like you, apply via the link below with a cover letter explaining why you should be part of Team Awesome.
