We are looking for a consultant to join our Assurance Technology Risk team in Auckland or Wellington. This role is perfect for someone who has just started their career in IT Audit, or is looking to diversify from External Audit with a move into IT Assurance. This position provides an opportunity to develop your career in a growing team and develop your technical skills in an inclusive and diverse environment. As our Consultant you will:

Support the execution of audits/assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g. CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley Act)
Support Assurance/Audit engagements - including the execution of evaluating and design of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls) in support of external audits as well as Program Assurance engagements.
Assist in the preparation of reports for clients and other stakeholders.
Work with the team to develop client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables and outcomes.
Work with the team to provide client deliverables on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal.
Work effectively across multiple internal and external teams, building your professional network across the service line and with clients.

O Pumanawa I What we're looking for:

A Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in IT or related discipline, although finance, business or accounting qualifications will also be considered.
Experience working on Audit engagements such as diverse IT Audits, IT General Controls, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007 or ASAE Audits.
Good report writing capability.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP).
A passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to deliver value to clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.
The ability to use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
