We work as a strong MDT within our radiology service, and always have the welfare of our patients and their families at the core of our work.
Due to our size and close collegial relationships throughout the hospital, it is quite normal to go and find the person to get the answer rather than send an email, and you will often find you get feedback regarding the progress of your patients after they have left your care, which certainly does not happen in a larger hospital!
Mo te turanga About the role Our Radiology Service offers a full range of imaging modalities based on a digital RIS / PACS systems. We offer MRI, Interventional, CT and ultrasound; however, we do not offer mammography services.
Our vacancy requires a Radiologist with a general scope of skills, including MRI and CT guided procedures; ultrasound experience is advantageous to us, but not an absolute necessity for you to be successful in gaining this role.
As we are a flexible department, we are willing and able to make the most of your skills and are happy to support your special interest.

You will participate in an out of hours on-call roster shared equally amongst your Radiologist colleagues.

You must be FRANZCR qualified (or equivalent) and hold, or be eligible for, vocational registration with Medical Council of NZ.
